From January to July, the national textile and apparel export increased by 12.7%

From January to July, the country’s textile and apparel exports maintained a steady growth, with an export value of US$154.9 billion, an increase of 12.7%.

Among all provinces and cities, Zhejiang ranks first, with steady export growth, with an export value of 37.4 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 11.9%. This year, the export situation of textiles and clothing to the EU and Japan is relatively sluggish, but Zhejiang’s exports to the EU, the United States, and Japan have all maintained growth, and the growth has been relatively even, with an increase of between 5% and 6.7%. Exports of private enterprises in Zhejiang Province accounted for more than 70% of the province's total export value, an increase of 18.9%. State-owned and foreign-funded enterprises' exports declined slightly, falling by 1% to 3%.
